JUNIOR CRICKET

Our mission is to provide cricketing opportunities for all members of the community regardless of age, ability, or gender.

We strive to provide a club where all ages and abilities can develop their skills in a friendly, enjoyable, and safe environment.

We are an equal opportunities club who support all the ECB policies and guidelines and aim to provide a community asset where all members and visitors can benefit from our club and its facilities, in either cricket or community related activities.

We offer coaching for boys and girls from 5-18 and  we have a full range of age-group teams that provide great opportunities to play. 

For 2022, once again we will be running the ECB led AllStars programme again which aims to provide an introduction to cricket for children in years 1 and 2. Further information on this exciting programme can be found here, and registration can be done here.

Everyone is welcome and through our fundraising and volunteer team we keep subscriptions low.

All our coaches are qualified (ECB level 2) and, along with our volunteers, are DBS (formally CRB) checked and first aiders.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability. We provide virtually all the equipment and ensure that everyone who comes along is fully involved.

While we run the sessions parents can grab a drink at our club bar – a great way to start the weekend.

As well as coaching we offer the chance for all age groups to participate in matches. For younger players the format, called ‘pairs’, means that everyone gets involved. For older children the matches follow a more traditional format, but with an emphasis on participation.

SUBSRIPTION FEES ARE FROZEN AGAIN FOR THE FIFTH YEAR IN SUCCESSION.

For 2022 we will once again be using an online form for registration. 

All Age Groups need to register with KCC via this link.

AllStars also need to register with the ECB programme via this link (Monies paid direct to ECB for AllStars).

If the subscription levels might prevent your child from participating then please make contact with the relevant junior manager as per the list below who will be happy to discuss what options there are. Annual subscriptions for 2022 are as follows:

Subscription fees are frozen at the same price for the 5th year running!

Under 7’s ALLSTARS (School Years 1 & 2) £40. Paybale to ECB.

Under 9’s (School Years 3 & 4) £30

Under 11’s-15’s (School Years 5-10) £60

Under 16’s & 18’s (School Years 11-13) £50

Multiple Children Discount

For families who have more than 1 child, a discount of 50% will be applied to 2nd/3rd children from the usual membership fee. 

If a discounted child is part of the AllStars programme, then KCC can’t apply the discount as these fees are paid direct to the ECB, but instead the same amount will be taken off the first child’s membership fees. Please speak to the appropriate team manager for clarity if required.
